we’ll tell
you what kind
of results to expect and we’ll also
give you a sense of our guiding beliefs
and values, and the approach to
our coaching style.
Expected results:
- When you work with us, you can expect to see
desirable and sustainable changes in your health,
your energy, and your overall feeling of well being. By
tying your goals to the big picture – your dream
life – we uncover areas that you may not be aware
of that are sabotaging your efforts to reach your target
health goals.
- By learning how to set and accomplish goals with “baby
steps”, you naturally achieve more with
less effort and frustration.
- With reduced frustration you gain control over
your situation, which helps you to relax and
enjoy the ride!
- Learning how to make these changes helps to increase
your physical and subsequently your mental health,
which in turn helps to eliminate stressors
and energy drainers from your life.
- Once small goals are achieved, you naturally increase
your confidence level, and thus your productivity
in whatever you do.
- By freeing up time and energy to take care of yourself,
you create a lifestyle that promotes health,
instead of retarding it.
Guiding beliefs and values
- My belief is that in order
to make a positive, permanent change, you’re
going to have to get uncomfortable. You
have to be willing to work, to be open to change
and to make this a number one priority in your life. You will make this
as hard or as easy as you like, it’s up to you. This
is not medicine, therapy or business coaching. It
is an opportunity for you to grow and discover areas
within yourself you never knew were there. It
will show you strengths you never thought you possessed. Getting
your health under control will open doors for you that
show you that poor health is no longer an option. You
will be surprised in how small health improvements
translate into big lifestyle improvements. Ultimately,
it will give you the tools to change many other aspects
in your life, and will give you the freedom, time and
money to pursue your passions in life.
- I have been professionally coached
for 2 years, and know about being in both the driver
and the passenger seat of coaching. Since 1995, I have coached clients
in my business “Natural Solutions” which
has evolved to “Natural Solutions by Anke, LLC” in
2003. This gives me not only the technical information
to help you achieve your goals, but more importantly
the emotional aspect of having experienced both
roles of coach and client.
- My passion to help parents and partners
who have had a child over the age of thirty again stems
from experience. I
had my son at age 39, and found it VERY difficult to
return to the “pre-child” mom I used to be. My
energy, my overall happiness and my physical form were
all greatly compromised. Having a new baby,
being an entrepreneur, and being a full time mom left
little time for me, something I wasn’t used to. My
experience in this scenario lends my talents to you to
help you get back to a better you in a lot less time
than it took me. Don’t reinvent the wheel,

and feel like your better self now!
Our Approach
- Health coaching is a guilt-free,
no nag zone where your personal well-being is the number
one priority. You
will get a push when you need to be pushed, and be
supported when you need support. Your success
in succeeding is the most important thing to me, and
I will always focus on the positive, instead of the
negative. Not that I won’t give you a “call
to action” if you’re not progressing, but
I will do it in a way that maintains your dignity,
so that you don’t have to fear our coaching calls
even if you didn’t accomplish what you had set
out for that week.
- Simplifying the life of the client is
another area of focus. Almost everyone is busy
with to-do lists that never get done. The coach
will work with the client to identify tasks that can
be reduced, commitments that can be streamlined, and
methods to increase efficiency in all aspects of life.
- “There are never enough hours in
the day” is
a common phrase heard daily. And part of this frustration
for “lack of time” is due to loss of energy,
or lack of “energy creation”. Fatigue
is not only a component of illness; it’s now part
of our everyday lives. When a person lacks energy
to accomplish daily tasks, the person can easily fall
behind which increases stress, decreases energy further
and may even cause depression. This focus area
will examine the areas in the client’s
life which drain energy and create a plan to minimize
the effect of these areas. In addition,
the coach will work with the client to find sources
of positive energy and develop ways that increase
exposure to positive energy sources. Imagine, the
same number of hours in a day, but productivity is
increased. That
includes time for YOU, and to do whatever YOU
chose!
- Almost any illness
or health condition can be improved through changes
in daily habits. Examples
of these changes include improved nutrition, increased
exercise, improved sleep and rest, and reduced stress. The
coaching process would assist the client in setting
feasible goals, creating a supportive environment and
generating motivation to make the changes necessary for
increased health.
- If you were a client, you may wonder what
you and the coach would talk about. The
answer: whatever it takes to help you take action
and produce results. This means you might:
- Sometimes talk about goals, strategy,
or establishing boundaries
- Set up systems to assure that you
get what you need to stay motivated.
- Fortify other areas of your life that
serve as the foundation of change.
- Develop a plan to establish the support
network and the environment you need to assure your
success.
- Implement methods to overcome relapse.
- Identify stale
habits and mindsets that you need to “let go” of
in order to excel.
- Celebrate your achievements.
- Reverse your setbacks
